Dunham is seeking a Product Manager to create, articulate and implement the plan to achieve business objectives for the women’s casual business. You will manage development activities of the cross functional team and build relationships with customers and vendors. Also manages the category budget.

REPORTS TO: Dunham Marketing Manager

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Develops a solid understanding of the marketplace. Evaluates the marketplace and develops a strategy to grow the category. Identifies appropriate product for the market, sets margin requirements and oversees the design, development, and on time delivery of market right products.
    Continually seeks to develop profitable innovative products. Strong merchandising skills.

  2. Manage day to day product development activities of cross-functional team. Supervise team meetings, ensure follow-up on all facets of product development, including prototype and sales samples. Works closely with other Dunham Product managers to coordinate product synergy across category where relevant.
  3. Works with the operations team to determine the forecast for the category on a quarterly basis. Has input on the category buy each month.
  4. Promotes the name and reputation of the brand. Builds relationships with key retail and end customers and prospects. Develops, recommends, and implements merchandising and promotional strategies to achieve product
    category goals.

  5. Maintains profit and loss statements and continually analyzes the business to maximize the division’s profitability and minimize risks.
  6. Represents Dunham at trade shows.

QUALIFICATIONS:

BA degree in marketing or related field required, MBA helpful. Minimum of 7 years experience in sales, product management or as a retail buyer, including 3 in management and in a product marketing role required.

Demonstrated business management and presentation skills are essential.

Strong interpersonal skills, including written, oral and negotiation are required.

Frequent travel required.
