Pro Player stated that Synclaire Brands, the children’s footwear licensee for the Michael Kors, Sam Edelman, Stuart Weitzman and Tommy Hilfiger brands, has signed on as exclusive licensee for Pro Player’s Proline athletic footwear.

United Legwear & Apparel Co. LLC recently acquired the master license for Pro Player from Perry Ellis International. Redesigned creative assets, including an updated logo and key marketing partnerships with Major League Baseball, are part of the brand’s realignment.

Isaac E. Ash, founder, president and CEO of United Legwear & Apparel Co., commented, “Synclaire is the right partner for Pro Player athletic shoes because they make quality footwear, give the consumer a great value and have solid distribution. By leveraging the traction Pro Player has gained in the last few months through big marketing initiatives and buyer interest, we anticipate excellent response at retail.”

Evan Cagner, president and CEO of Synclaire Brands, said, “Athleisure products and specifically technical and fashion athletics are driving the footwear business. The Pro Player brand embodies and exemplifies the active lifestyle that consumers are embracing today.”

Pro Player apparel, footwear and accessories collections for men, women and kids are targeted at sport specialty stores, sporting goods chains and department stores; a proprietary e-commerce website will launch in the fourth quarter of 2016.
