Honey Stinger reported that ten professional athletes had joined in ownership of the company and its principal investor, Factory LLC, as part of a $15 million raise facilitated by Chaos Ventures.

Honey Stinger, the manufacturer of organic sports nutrition, was founded in 2001. In 2019, it expanded its target market to include team sports, fitness enthusiasts and recreational competitors. Today, the company supports over “1,000 professional and collegiate teams” with its nutritional products to “Prepare, Perform and Recover” while practicing and competing.

The ten athletes who invested in the company include 2022 Roberto Clemente Award winner Justin Turner and two-time Olympic gold medalist Angel McCoughtry.

Honey Stinger distributes its products in grocery, mass, convenience, drug, and sporting goods retailers across the U.S., online, and in select international markets.
