PrimaLoft re-engineered its PrimaLoft Footwear application three seasons ago to be more water resistant, more comfortable, and to provide greater warmth when wet than the previous generation.
PrimaLoft Footwear technology combines a unique blend of specially treated, water resistant ultra-fine fibers to form a lightweight, breathable insulation that dries fast, retains warmth when wet, is thermally efficient, resilient and compression resistant. When compared to the leading
competition, PrimaLoft Footwear is 5% warmer when dry, 15% warmer when wet, absorbs 18% less water, and rates higher in compression recovery.
