PrimaLoft, Inc. named Manish Jain as its new senior vice president, technology and development.
“We are excited for Manish to join the PrimaLoft team,” said PrimaLoft president and CEO, Mike Joyce. “Manish comes to us with decades of experience and accomplishments in fiber technology. His background in advanced materials and expansive knowledge of polymer processes, combined with his extensive management experience, makes him an ideal fit to continue our company’s technological development.”
Jain is an accomplished research and product development executive with well-rounded experience across R&D, product management, business development and operations. Most recently, Jain served as vice president of R&D and technology for Crane Company Currency Division, leading the company’s technology innovation for substrates (currency and security paper) as well as security threads, fibers, and micro-optics security technology.
Previously, Jain was the head of material science and process technologies for the Albany International Corp., Homer, NY extrusion facility, where he was responsible for raw material needs, leading R&D, quality, and the new product development group.
“I’m thrilled to work with the talented team at PrimaLoft,” said Manish Jain. “I look forward to continuing PrimaLoft’s commitment to providing advanced material solutions across a variety of industry segments.”
Jain is replacing Vanessa Mason, who is retiring this year from her position as Senior Vice President, Engineering.
“I would like to express our deep appreciation for the many contributions and positive impact that Vanessa has had during her tenure at PrimaLoft,” said Joyce. “We wish her much success in her personal and professional endeavors.”
Mason will work with Jain in the coming months to ensure a seamless transition. Following her retirement, PrimaLoft plans to work with Mason as a consultant on specific projects.
