Primaloft has hired Eric Ritter as product development engineer and Jared Cieslewicz as a territory sales manager in preparation for several major product announcements.

Ritter is responsible for new product development for the insulation segment of the business. Ritter has over 25 years of textile engineering expertise and most recently worked for Tex Tech Industries in Portland, ME, where he handled research and development, production, management of raw materials and manufacturing. He has patented materials in fire-blocking fabric, thermal and acoustic fabrics, enhanced energy absorbing materials, and carbon-based weld blankets. He graduated from Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science and received his Master’s in Materials and Textile Engineering from Drexel University.

As a territory sales manager, Cieslewicz will apply his 17 years of outdoor industry experience to working with PrimaLoft brand partners. He will also develop new relationships with iconic brands that would benefit from PrimaLoft’s proprietary technologies.

Prior to PrimaLoft, Cieslewicz was product developer at Black Diamond. Cieslewicz graduated from The University of Utah and has a Juris Doctor/Stegner Certificate in Natural Resource and Land Use from The University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law.

Eric and Jared come to PrimaLoft with proven track records in categories that are top priorities for growth,” said Mike Joyce, PrimaLoft CEO. “Their in-depth industry and technology expertise will be essential to PrimaLoft as we build our arsenal of disruptive technologies and enlist new brands as our partners.”

PrimaLoft recently marked its 25th anniversary and first year as a private company led by Joyce. He and his team are focused on reinvesting in the brand to drive innovation, elevate its partnerships and raise the company’s global profile.
