A portion of the proceeds from the sock will benefit the University of Montana’s Pursue Your Passions program to support women entrepreneurs and leaders.
Last fall, VIM & VIGR hosted an online contest for artists to submit designs for a limited edition sock in honor of International Women’s Day. From all the entries, local Montana artist and entrepreneur Emma Covill’s artwork was selected for its celebration of the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. Emma’s original art was then translated to sock design, colors picked, sampled and sent off to the factory for production.
