Enhanced Trail Pro Series: Comfort Meets Sustainability
Growing its camp comfort collection – for those who don’t want to compromise their sleep in the backcountry – Therm-a-Rest is updating its current Trail Pro, and introducing a new Trail ProLite to its lineup of self-inflating sleeping pads. The updated Trail Pro and new Trail ProLite feature Stratacore foam for enhanced insulation and comfort. The new stretch knit fabric is soft to the touch and contours to the body, relieving pressure points for a more restful sleep. The fabric is solution dyed as well, reducing the amount of water used in the dying process by 4.5 (Trail Pro) to nine gallons (Trail ProLite). The lighter and more compact Trail ProLite is a comfortable two inches thick, and 24 ounces (regular). The more comfortable Trail Pro is a generous three inches thick and weighs in at 30 punches. The R-value for the Trail ProLite is 3.8 and the Trail Pro is 4.4.
