Bend, Ore., October 12, 2020 – A coalition of 14 companies have joined together to share their commitment to conservation by participating in The Conservation Alliance #WeKeepItWild campaign. From October 12-18, participating companies will donate five-percent of online sales to The Conservation Alliance. Funds raised during this campaign will help the Alliance protect wild lands and waters across North America, supporting a vision of a planet where wild places, wildlife, and people thrive together.
“The #WeKeepItWild campaign perfectly exemplifies the spirit of The Conservation Alliance with brands coming together to raise funds for the protection of wild places,” said Conor McElyea, Membership Program Manager at The Conservation Alliance. “Our members are integral to our work—paying annual membership dues that have a 100-percent pass through to our grant fund, dictating how and where those funds are allocated, and throughout the year, using their voice as advocates for the protection of public lands. We are heartened to see this group of members going above and beyond to support our mission by raising additional funds for The Conservation Alliance by donating five-percent of online sales from October 12-18.”
Allison Miles, Community and Content Marketing Manager at Ruffwear said, “Ruffwear’s employees, customers, and community understand that spending time outdoors deepens our connection with nature, each other, and our dogs.” She continued, “Through our partnership with The Conservation Alliance, we have the opportunity to protect places where dogs and people go to play, so that others may continue to experience the joy and connection found in the outdoors for generations to come. We’re excited to engage with our customers to support The Conservation Alliance during the We Keep It Wild campaign.”
The coalition of participating Member Companies includes: Alpacka Raft, Backpacker’s Pantry, Buff, Farm to Feet, Gregory, GU, HydraPak, Klean Kanteen, NRS, Osprey, Polar Bottle, Ruffwear, Toad&Co, and TREW.
