Sierra Designs is relaunching its Mobile Mummy sleeping bag next month with updated recycled materials.

The bag is constructed as a onesie with a center front dual zipper, side armholes and foot box that can be stowed for ease of mobility and transforms into a traditional mummy bag with a full-length zipper, self-sealing armports and insulated hood for sleeping.

Stuffed with 800 fill RDS-certified DriDown, the Mummy is constructed with 55 percent recycled 20-denier nylon ripstop with lightweight, durable and sustainable construction.

“The Mobile Mummy was a favorite heritage piece of the Sierra Designs team, but we knew that if we were to bring it back we would need to redevelop it with innovative, sustainable solutions aligning with our goal of reducing our environmental impact,” said Sierra Designs Sleeping Bag Product Designer Amy Novak. “By working to eliminate plastic waste in the production process and focusing on recovery and reuse of materials for production, we have been able to bring back the Mobile Mummy in an eco-friendly way,” she added.

The sleeping bag weighs 2lbs, 6.5oz and available for women with a 15-degree temperature rating.
