Carlsbad, CA—The Running Industry Association (RIA) announced they will host their second annual RIA KICK Show this spring. The show will be held again at the Curtis Hotel in downtown Denver on May 11-14.
The inaugural members-only show in June 2019 was attended by 26 invited brands and 70 brick and mortar specialty run retailers from across the country. The working show format received positive reviews, as indicated by the post-show survey: 83% liked or loved the show, 85% reported the show yielded satisfactory or more than satisfactory value, and 100% of attendees indicated they would be back or would strongly consider returning in 2020.
“The show is all about our members, and thus we listened to their feedback and are making plans to amplify the show’s ROI for 2020,” states RIA executive director, Terry Schalow. “We will make two key improvements: 1) creating a higher level of buying efficiency for retailers via pre-show order planning and 2) allowing attendees to customize their show experience through category-focused buying tracks and flexible appointment scheduling.”
The 2020 show, known as KICK 2.0, will feature top footwear, apparel and accessory brands that will give full-length presentations to retailer buyers over the course of two and a half days.
