Ruffwear, the manufacturer of performance dog gear, launch two collections for FW22/23 season on August 17.

The Trailhead collection flexes across lifestyles and activities so humans and dogs can find “common ground to play and explore more together.”Launching October 12, the Innovative Insulation collection features winter jackets with technical insulation for the cold weather.

“This Fall/Winter season, we’re focused on the joyful connections that can come from playing outdoors with our dogs,” said Ruffwear Director of Marketing, Susan Strible. “Our pack put an emphasis on innovation, insulation and versatility when creating these gear collections, including Ruffwear’s first dog jacket featuring natural fibers. We are excited to launch our fall and winter collections, both providing endless opportunities for play throughout the season.”

The Innovative Insulation Collection, available October 12, 2022, includes:

  • Furness Jacket — an ultrawarm, high-coverage jacket for dogs with high-loft insulation. The relaxed fit in a parka style offers canines high coverage on the neck and belly and leg loops for a secure fit. The lightweight shell fabric has a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish which sheds moisture and the articulated stretch StormSleeve seals in warmth and maintains freedom of movement. XXS-XL in Twilight Gray and Red Sumac.
  • Hemp Hound Sweater—is Ruffwear’s first jacket featuring natural fibers. This everyday knit sweater taps into the natural durability, breathability, and odor-resistance of hemp for warmth. Made of 55 percent hemp and 45 percent organic cotton, has a regular fit with zippered closure and open cap sleeves XXS-XL in Slate Blue, Heliotrope Purple and Fired Brick.
  • Powder Hound Jacket—This weather-resistant insulated jacket is ideal for all cold-weather activities featuring recycled polyester insulated back, belly panel and stretch, fleece-lined side panels, and sleeves. It is form-fitting with sleeves and a zippered closure for core heat retention and a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish which sheds moisture. Insulated belly panel, baffling pattern on the upper panel for an updated look, and new sleeve design round out the jacket. XXS-XL in Blue Pool, Aurora Teal and Persimmon Orange.
  • Overcoat Fuse Jacket—A jacket-harness combo has a weather-resistant shell and a poly fleece lining. It has a relaxed fit with vest coverage and side release buckles for easy on/off. There are leash attachment points on the back and chest and two zippered pockets. XXS-XL in Basalt Gray, Evergreen and Purple Rain.
