New York, NY, August 24, 2020 – Revo, the original performance sunglass brand, is excited to team up with Cleveland Clinic Cole Eye Institute, in Cleveland, Ohio, to donate 1,000 pairs of prescription eyeglasses to support the eye center’s community outreach initiative, Vision First. The centerpiece of the program is a mobile vision van that offers free eye exams and glasses to elementary school students enrolled in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District.

The donation of 1,000 pairs of eyeglasses, valued at $50,000, will help ensure that children in need can continue to receive critical eye care services during these unprecedented times.

Revo is proud to collaborate with a national leader in ophthalmology and support its efforts in advancing treatments for eye diseases. Revo will work with the eye center to provide services and funding for a number of vision research and patient care projects. Revo will also raise money for the eye center through fundraising efforts on its website, Revo.com.

“We’re honored to have the opportunity to team up with the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic Cole Eye Institute and more specifically, their mobile van that focuses on helping children,” said Cliff Robinson, Revo CEO. “We have long admired its work throughout the country and on a personal note, with family in the area, I’ve seen firsthand the great work the health system does in and around Cleveland”

Revo believes in the importance of giving back and, as an independent American brand, aims to focus on supporting the communities in which it operates and where our fans live and work. In the past four years, Revo has donated millions of dollars to eye health organizations globally including the Buy Vision, Give Sight Initiative and recently supported Meals on Wheels during the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure meals were delivered to those who could not leave their homes.
