Pro-Tec Athletics released its Ultra Resistance Band to encourage muscle strengthening, toning and injury rehabilitation for athletes.
The Band adds 49+ pounds of resistance to exercises including squats, glute bridges, hip thrusts, clamshells, and monster walks. The material is soft and durable to retain resistance levels over time. A slip-resistant inner rubber strip ensures the band stays in place during exercise. The Band also comes with an exercise guide.
The addition of the Ultra Resistance Band expands Pro-Tec’s strengthening category of products. Last year a three-pack of lighter Resistance Bands was introduced. By providing bands with varying resistance levels, Pro-Tec reinforces its mission to keep athletes of all skill levels at their optimum best.
“We believe in the importance of injury prevention. By adding Resistance Bands to our product lineup we hope to reinforce the importance of cross-training for athletes. It is important to work on strengthening all of your muscles and focus on any imbalances you may have to avoid possible injury,” said Heather Wright, director of marketing, Pro-Tec Athletics.
Many athletes skip the gym to train outside, avoid expensive fees or for other reasons. With Pro-Tec’s Resistance Band collection, strength training is affordable and portable for athletes.
“There are dozens of exercises that can be done to strengthen important areas, including hamstrings, hips, glutes, and more. It’s so important to stay on top of this stuff to be at my best,” said Dylan Bowman, Champion Ultra-runner, Pro-Tec Elite Athlete.
