We started with some small vision boards and before I knew it, I was looking at a kit that felt like a visual representation of myself.”
Otto made her Pearl Izumi debut last month at the Mediterranean Epic, securing a fourth place overall in her first race wearing the brand’s cutting-edge apparel. She relied on Pearl Izumi Pro Short Sleeve Jersey and Pro Bib, while also testing exclusive Made-to-Order athlete gear – a sneak peek of what’s to come. Later this year, riders everywhere will have the chance to wear Otto’s custom-designed kit, set for public release.
“Rolling up to the first start line of the season in my new custom kit felt amazing,” said Otto. “I feel like the bright and bold colors represented exactly how I wanted to start the season. It felt really special to get that kit up on the podium for the first time, and I hope it’s just the first of many.”
