Outdoor Research has expanded its Essential Coverage Collection with a 3-Layer Face Cover. The ASTM compliant covering is made in the brand’s Seattle, WA factory and features a built-in filter and improved fit.  

The Cover offers the same product feature’s found in the brand’s Face Cover Kit, with improvements on the original design that includes a built-in, fully integrated filter.  Additional features include:

  • Adjustable nose wire and earloops for customized fit and to help users who wear glasses from fogging;
  • Designed with room for comfortable breathing; 
  • Polyester fabric for wicking moisture and faster dry time; and
  • Minimal seams to reduce irritation.

The Cover is reusable, washable and does not require replacement filters. The ASTM-F3502-21 compliant Cover remains effective up to 25 washes. The Cover is available at Outdoor Research and in select specialty retailers beginning in January 2022.
