Nathan Sports announced its entry into the eyewear market with a line of polarized sunglasses. The no-slip sunglasses offer high-grip TPE material incorporated into the nose and temples of the frame to keep the glasses from shifting during activity. The TR90 frame construction is flexible, impact-resistant and heat-resistant. The injection-molded polycarbonate lenses are embedded inside the lens.
“As we looked to new product categories to support both our existing consumers as well as introduce the brand to new consumers, sunglasses were a natural extension,” said Marissa Buyck, marketing manager, United Sports Brands. “Of course we validated this with our consumers to ensure the product not only met but exceeded their expectations. We’re really excited about the final product line and know our consumers will be too. The eyewear market was previously saturated with glasses that were either lower cost and lower quality glasses or higher quality but higher cost,” Buyck continued. “We brought the high-quality specifications into a more affordable price point.”
The glasses launched this week DTC and are available in four colors: Adventure Polarized Black, Summit Polarized Gray, Summit Polarized Clear, and Sunrise Polarized Tortoise. For more product information, go here.
