Osprey has expanded of its mountain biking packs with the introduction of Raptor Pro for Spring 2022.  Built for gravity-focused mountain bikers, the pack integrates a D3O CE Level 1 full back protector to the impact if a fall occurs. Features include a tool organizer, padding and full-face helmet carry.

“Whether you’re self-shuttling classic town trails, taking a lift up to ride fast and flowy runs, or ripping down backcountry singletrack, the Raptor Pro has the durability, organization and stability for any and every rowdy day out,” said Rosie Mansfield, Osprey product line manager.

The D3O BP4 L1 back protector “exceeds CE Level 1 certification” and uses patented, patent-pending and proprietary technologies to “engineer materials that are rate-sensitive, soft, and flexible as well as highly shock absorbent. This lightweight, exceptionally soft and flexible design means the back protector provides riding comfort without sacrificing durability and protection while the highly ventilated geometry delivers maximum breathability,” said Osprey.

Osprey included it AirScape back panel featuring “mesh-covered, extra deep ridged foam to allow for superior ventilation while keeping loads close to the body. The harness is built with curved, bike-specific winged shoulder straps which work with the air mesh wrap hipbelt to deliver stability and breathability,” the brand continued.
