Osprey announced the expansion of its premium mountain biking packs with the introduction of Raptor Pro for Spring 2022.

Built for gravity-focused mountain bikers, Raptor Pro integrates a D3O CE Level 1 full back protector to absorb impact in case of a fall. Organizational features include a tool organizer and padding with full-face helmet carry.

“Whether you’re self-shuttling classic town trails, taking a lift up to ride fast and flowy runs or ripping down backcountry singletrack, the Raptor Pro has the durability, organization and stability for any and every rowdy day out,” said Rosie Mansfield, Osprey product line manager.

The D3O BP4 L1 back protector exceeds CE Level 1 certification and uses a patented, patent-pending and proprietary technologies to engineer materials that are rate-sensitive, soft, flexible and shock absorbent to provide riding comfort without sacrificing durability and protection. The ventilated geometry offers breathability.

The Raptor Pro is also built for stability. Osprey’s AirScape backpanel features mesh-covered, extra deep ridged foam for ventilation while keeping loads close to the body. The harness is built with curved, bike-specific winged shoulder straps which work with the airmesh wrap hipbelt for stability and breathability.
