Moncler launched its Trailgrip line, a “convergence of its mountain DNA and an effortless cool that speaks to urban city spaces.”

The footwear features a robust sole inspired by Vibram’s MegaGrip rubber mountain bike tires and flexible carbon fiber plates for responsive cushioning and dynamic support.

The company collaborated with Cordura and Gore-Tex on the collection.

The Trailgrip GTX low-top sneaker trainer offers 100 percent waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex technology. The 1952 x Trailgrip features a croc-textured upper in a bold green color, a tribute to the recurring shade in Sergio Zambon’s 2 Moncler 1952 Man ready-to-wear collection. The Trailgrip GTX High references Moncler’s mountaineering history with a range of contemporary styles influenced by hiking boots. Materials used include premium leather, Nubuck, Cordura, Gore-Tex and TecTuff.

The Trailgrip Après incorporates the same iconic boudin quilting as Moncler’s signature jackets, offering warmth and comfort thanks to a Chelsea construction that facilitates the fit. Designed for snowy locations, the Trailgrip Après High is an alpine boot with a waterproof Gore-Tex membrane, while warmth and comfort are provided by the puffer-style upper.

The Acqua and Acqua High boots are waterproof and equipped with removable socks. The low-top model has a sherpa fleece lining, while the high-top features a recycled knitted inner boot. Both feature futuristic curved moldings.

The Trailgrip designs are suitable for all activities and environments.
