Meindl USA, the exclusive provider of Meindl’s premium handcrafted footwear in North America, today launched an exciting line of high-performance boots with its new Alpine Series featuring the brand’s exclusive Air Revolution technology.
Designed with meticulous attention to detail following Meindl’s 300-year history of precision engineering and crafted in the spirit of Europe’s highest and most extensive mountain range, the Bavarian Alps, every component and hand-crafted stitch of the Alpine Series is constructed for serious mountain pursuits.

Each style in the Alpine Series features Meindl’s exclusive Air Revolution technology highlighted by a dual-layer Air Revolution tongue with air channels that improve ventilation and help regulate internal temperature. When stepping down on the heel, the tongue allows fresh air to flow through the air channels and into the boot. Pushing off the ground then forces warm air out of the boot. This creates unparalleled ventilation and comfort for feet, making it the ultimate climate-controlling technology for footwear
The Alpine Series is also designed with waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex liners that work in conjunction with Air Revolution technology to maximize moisture control, letting perspiration vapor escape while keeping moisture out. Additional comfort is provided by Meindl’s Air-Active insole which provides a cushioned, moisture-managing footbed that wicks perspiration away from feet while distributing weight to eliminate hotspots and sore points.
Three distinct styles will be included in the initial offering of the Alpine Series.
Air Revolution Alpine Pro 200
A technically advanced mountain boot built for extreme alpine adventures. It has a C-flex-use rating that makes it perfect for high-country outings in challenging terrain. These 9-inch boots feature 200 grams of Gore insulation for warmth without adding unnecessary weight and Vibram Multigrip 3 Alpine outsoles for traction and stability on any type of surface.
Air Revolution Alpine 4.1 Hiker
A 7.5-inch hiking boot designed for the challenging terrain and conditions encountered on multi-day backcountry trips. They provide stability and support with a B/C-flex-use rating and Vibram Multigrip 3 outsoles that are ideal for carrying heavy loads across uneven landscapes.
Air Revolution Alpine 1.5 Light Hiker
These 7.25-inch boots are built for hunting, hiking, trekking, and any kind of foot traffic in moderate topography. Featuring an A/B-flex-use rating, they offer lightweight support with the same hand-crafted construction, high-tech components and features as the other Alpine Series boots and Vibram Cleats Grip outsoles for traction and stability.
