Rimsting, Germany, September 16, 2019—Continuing to expand the Brand’s presence in the North American market, Maloja will open the doors to their first flagship store. Located in Stowe, Vermont, the store will open on September 28th with a grand opening celebration showcasing new Fall and Winter apparel. The opening will also include a meet and greet with Maloja-sponsored U.S. Biathlon athletes and brand co-founders.

The store will feature new Fall and Winter 2019 collections for mountain and road cycling, climbing, Nordic and backcountry skiing as well as lifestyle apparel. From jackets and vests, shirts and pants, as well as accessories, Maloja apparel blends performance and style for mountain enthusiasts. Additionally, this opening will allow guests the opportunity to meet members of the U.S. Biathlon team. Entering year two of their partnership, the U.S. Biathlon team will be outfitted in Maloja race and training gear. The uniforms include lightweight racing suits with bonded and ultrasonically welded seams and laser-cut inserts. Throughout the partnership, Maloja continues to work with the U.S. Biathlon athletes to adapt the designs for optimal performance. U.S. Biathlon apparel is available for sale at Maloja flagship stores and online with a portion of the proceeds benefiting athlete development programs.
Maloja is currently available in over 175 retail stores across North America. The flagship store in Vermont joins seven global flagship locations, many based in mountain communities in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Korea. Maloja flagship stores fully embody the Brand’s product, messaging and spirit.
