Freemotion announced the global launch of its iFit-powered 22 Series — a cardio range of equipment with interactive, connected fitness capabilities for commercial fitness facilities. Integrating product design and on-demand, digital content, gives users an immersive and personalized virtual training experience.
Available late 2020, the 22 Series includes its Reflex Treadmill, Incline Trainer and CoachBike.
The product launch comes following the announcement that ICON Health & Fitness received a $200 million growth investment led by L Catterton, a private equity firm, to deliver the brand’s full range of interactive fitness products powered by iFit — including the Freemotion 22 Series.
Connected fitness is not new, but the pandemic has thrown it center stage and accelerated growth heading into 2021. Freemotion’s 22 Series is poised to grow within the category.
According to Dan Toigo, Senior Vice President and Managing Director for Freemotion Fitness, “We have put people at the heart of the development of this new 22 Series range of cardio equipment. Each piece has been meticulously designed and developed to deliver a fully interactive, engaging, immersive, and personalized experience like never before.”
