St. Louis, MO, September 12, 2019 — Dakota Grizzly, a distinctly crafted and timelessly cool Midwestern men’s apparel brand, is proud to announce its commemorative merchandise sponsorship with Warren Miller Entertainment to celebrate the film’s 70th Anniversary.
This is the year to celebrate and honor Warren Miller, and Dakota Grizzly is onboard with a signature flannel for the staff and a commemorative merchandise program to celebrate the 70th year of screenings! Renowned iconic filmmaker Warren Miller passed last year surrounded by family at the admirable age of 93. Because of Warren Miller, ski and snowboard enthusiasts of all ages look forward to the coming of winter. This fall, Warren Miller Entertainment (WME) confirms that the joys of winter are eternal with its 70th full-length feature film, Timeless, presented by Volkswagen.
This year, Dakota Grizzly is honored to be selected as the official Warren Miller staff shirt and maker of select commemorative apparel for sale. Timeless will honor an incredible legacy that gives a deserving nod to the past, while also focusing on the present and the future—and what future generations will be emulating on snow.
“It’s incredible that this is number 70,” says narrator and Olympic gold medalist Jonny Moseley. “Every year, I still get that same feeling I got when I was a kid watching ski movies. I enjoy watching them now more than ever, and that is what Timeless celebrates.”
As a manufacturer for three generations dating back to the end of WWII, Dakota Grizzly’s family owners can relate to history in the making. Rob Rosenblum explains, “We come from a family business with a long history in outdoor apparel, and it’s a welcome honor to celebrate this season with the 70th film! We like to think our clothing is as classic as Warren—well-worn, well-traveled, and ready for the next road trip or cliff jump.”
Warren Miller’s Timeless, presented by Volkswagen, is more than a ski and snowboard film, it’s an experience 70 years in the making. About Timeless:
From the mountains of British Columbia, across the steeps of the Colorado Rockies, to the rooftop of the European Alps, Timeless explores winter stoke across the globe. Along for the ride are more new athletes than ever before, including female phenom and Jackson Hole’s 2019 Queen of Corbet’s, Caite Zeliff; Olympic mogul skier Jaelin Kauf; Baker Boyd; Connery Lundin; Austin Ross; and Canadian World Cup ski racer, Erin Mielzynski. Returning to the screen are industry veterans Rob DesLauries, Lorraine Huber, Tyler Ceccanti, Marcus Caston, Amie Engerbretson, and Forrest Jillson, as well as ski legend Glen Plake.
Presale tickets will be available online at a discounted price from August 20 through 25 and general on-sale will begin on September 24. Timeless will premiere on October 23 and travel across the U.S. to more than 100 cities during the 2019 National Film Tour. All ski and snowboard fans, young and old, are invited to come together to carry on the legacy of the official kickoff to winter. Film attendees will enjoy lift ticket deals and gear discounts from WME’s resort and retail partners. Plus, all moviegoers are entered into nightly door prize drawings and the national sweepstakes to win gear, swag, and ski trips.
