Big City Mountaineers (BCM) a leading provider of transformational wilderness experiences for under-resourced youth, will be hosting a “30 Days of Giveaways” campaign to celebrate the organization’s 30th anniversary sending mentors and kids into the backcountry.

As BCM enters its 30th summer of programming, it aims to give thanks to the brands and individuals in the outdoor industry who’ve helped the non-profit grow into the organization it is today. The 30 Days of Giveaways campaign will appreciate those brands, as well as expand BCM’s network of like-minded individuals by introducing new people to the organization. Each day, BCM will give away one product from a brand partner on its Instagram page. Participating brands include Gregory, Arc’teryx, Topo Designs, MSR, Osprey, Vasque, LOWA, Adventure Medical Kits and more.

To participate, eligible candidates must follow Big City Mountaineers on Instagram and tag two friends in the comments. The campaign will run from June 3rd to July 2nd, 2019.

Big City Mountaineers will kick off its 30th season of programming in June, providing week-long expeditions in seven states throughout this summer: California, Colorado, Florida, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Oregon, and Washington. About Big City Mountaineers: Big City Mountaineers (BCM) instills critical life skills in over 1,000 under-served young people each year by getting them outdoors with volunteer mentors for life-changing wilderness experiences. BCM’s unique model of 1:1 mentoring is proven to develop integrity, responsibility, and improve communication skills and decision-making abilities in youth from risk-filled environments through a nationally recognized developmental analysis tool. Youth who develop these skills alongside caring mentors are more likely to stay in school and avoid drugs, gangs, and violence. To learn more, please visit bigcitymountaineers.org
