360 Adventure Collective, the trusted member association that has been a resource bridging sales reps and retailers, in the outdoor, ski and lifestyle product categories for over 35 years, is preparing for their upcoming Winter Show season with newly elected board members. New members include Ken MacDonald representing the New England region, Erik Steinour representing the Mid-Atlantic region and Clay Hardin representing the Southeast region. MacDonald, Steinour and Hardin replace Mel Chrestman Jr. of the Southeast region, Scott Heald of the New England region and Kevin Brew of the Mid-Atlantic region, who each served the maximum term for board members which is 6 years. The new board members were announced during the Collective’s multi-day board meeting that was held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
“We are excited to welcome Ken, Erik and Clay to the board,” notes Debbie Motz, Executive Director of 360 Adventure Collective. “Their longevity in the industry and expertise will be instrumental in guiding 360 Adventure Collective as we continue to see monumental growth.”
The non-profit collaboration, rooted in providing cost-effective events, is revving up for their upcoming Winter Expos on the East Coast and On Snow Demos hosted conveniently in New England. These events provide reps the opportunity to make connections within the outdoor and ski industries in an intimate and localized setting. Building upon the success of their inaugural On Snow Demo hosted during the 2019 winter season, the Collective will return to the mountains of Pico Mountain in Vermont. Attendees will have the chance to ski/ride on their own private mountain as Pico Mountain will be closed to the public. High interest during last season’s event warranted the Collective to expand the On Snow Demo and will host an event at Waterville Valley in New Hampshire. Organizers are anticipating an increase in attendance which saw over 400 attendees at each demo in its first year.
Higher attendee numbers have also required organizers to source expanded space at the venues for the New England Winter Market event in Worcester, Massachusetts and the Southeast Winter Expo in Greenville, South Carolina. The Collective is also seeing strong bookings for the Alabama Winter Expo hosted in Birmingham, the New England Winter Expo held in Providence, Rhode Island and the Mid-Atlantic Winter Market in Ellicott City, Maryland. Though attendee numbers are growing, the team is confident that the intimacy of the event will remain unchanged.
“Our mission is to facilitate an intimate, local and cost-effective connection with reps and retailers,” states Motz. “We’ll continually provide the best environment for our attendees while always evaluating our approach.”
