Prana is accelerating its growth in Europe with an enhanced distribution network and new international sales team.

Founded in 1993, Prana started with apparel catering to the clothing needs of yogis and climbers. The company’s purposeful and stylish apparel quickly began to attract a wide audience, appealing to all sorts of people pursuing their passions, whether on the water, mat, rock, trail or street. As its appeal grew, Prana remained committed to weaving sustainable practices into its operations and supply chains.

Sustainability means more than recycling and using organic and natural fibers. For Prana it means working to constantly improve its practices from start to finish. That’s why Prana was one of the first U.S. Bluesign system partners, offering complete Bluesign certified garments. It was also one of the first major apparel makers to offer Fair Trade Certified clothing. Sustainability is deep in the brand’s DNA and Prana is managed by people committed to changing how apparel is made..

Part of the portfolio of brands owned by Columbia Sportswear Company, Prana is investing in its international distribution network and has brought on an experience European sales team.

“Prana has a rich history in the European marketplace, with solid roots in the climbing and yoga communities,” said Sasha Dietschi-Cooper, VP of global sales. “We are committed to expanding the brand’s reach in Europe as an outdoor lifestyle brand.”

Prana will exhibit its complete Spring 2016 collection at its booth (A1-401) at the OutDoor Friedrichshafen trade show,  where Prana executives, representatives and brand ambassador Chris Sharma will be in attendance.
