Polartec will exhibit its latest fabric technologies at the German trade show Performance Days next week in Munich.

Performance Days, which is being held Nov. 4-5, showcases activewear innovations, trends, and new fabrics and materials for the worlds industry experts.

Polartecs participation in the show is driven by the brands growth in the athletic market.

“Polartec has worked closely with the world’s premier outdoor brands for decades, developing new fabric technologies with certain performance characteristics for them,” says Allison Spahr, Polartec VP of Global Design. “.

With the growth of athletic apparel and the premiumization of the
market, were seeing more and more athletic brands investing in premium
fabric technologies, so were dedicating more resources to cater to
them.”

“Some are using versions of technologies weve developed for the outdoor market or the military, and some are working with us to develop versions specifically suited to their needs,” Spahr continued. “Its all part of the growing demand for more functional apparel for daily attire.”
