Polar, a leader in wearable sports and fitness technology, welcomed 2016 Olympic Triathlon Gold Medalist and two-time ITU World Champion Gwen Jorgensen to its team.
A 17-time winner of ITU World Triathlon Series events, Jorgensen joins Polar’s growing team of renowned running and endurance athletes including Molly Huddle, Kate Grace and Mirinda Carfrae. Polar’s Smart Coaching and reliable metrics-based guidance will support Jorgensen as she aims to reach her next athletic accomplishments.
“If I’ve learned anything while training for the Olympics, it’s that I can condition myself for greatness,” said Jorgensen. “You have to put in the work, believe you can do it, and stay focused to make your goals happen. Physical and mental training is a major part of that conditioning, and I look to Polar to help me drive my performance every day to reach those goals.”
“Polar has a rapidly growing roster of professional athletes who use and trust our products to guide them to reach excellence,” said Stan Brajer, SVP of U.S. sales and marketing, Polar. “We excel at looking at the entire athlete’s profile and providing guidance, which is why Olympic athletes like Gwen are turning to Polar to drive their performance even further. We go beyond providing reliable training metrics by also considering mental, physical, and emotional aspects, providing a holistic approach to athletic performance and well-being. Just as our professional athletes rely on Polar, we also look to them to gain even more performance insights to help us continue improving products and provide the best experience for athletes at all levels.”
