Podium Distribution, designing, marketing, and distributing arm of DVS Shoe Company, Matix Clothing, and Lakai Limited Footwear, has decided that international lands are the place to be, announcing expansion in the forms of subsidiaries in the U.K. and China.
Podium established a subsidiary office in Guangzhou, China under the name Podium Asia. This new subsidiary will focus on footwear production, R&D footwear development, and raw material sourcing for DVS and Lakai shoes. Kevin Ridge, originally from Boston, Massachusetts, was appointed vice president of Asia footwear production for Podium Asia.
Podium also established Revival Distribution UK, Ltd. as a London-based subsidiary that will focus on the UK market, overseeing sales and marketing throughout the region. In addition to the Podium brands, Revival will also handle distribution for all Girl brands including Chocolate, 4 Star, Royal, Girl, Fillmore, and Diamond.
Revival Distribution will be headed up by former Podium key accounts manager, Erik Ecklund who accepted the position of general manager. Revival Distribution UK, Ltd. has already established an office of 10 employees and with the corporate decision to make Revival the European marketing headquarters, they most recently hired European marketing manager Eric Conyers and marketing assistant Mathieu Tourneur.
