Phunkshun Wear has introduced a new product line of neck tubes to expand its footprint during an expansion year for the brand.
Phunkshun Wear, founded in 2011 in Denver, CO, was created to meet the needs of ski and snowboard instructors. The company has since built its reputation on developing lightweight balaclavas and protective neck tubes made from recycled bottles.
The brand’s latest line of Ultralite Tubes is lightweight and provides unrestricted breathing during outdoor activities. Available in 27 patterns, including tweed, tribal and pride, shown, the material offers UPF 50+ rating sun protection and moisture management properties.
“Developing a warm-weather neck tube geared for outdoor activities wasn’t easy, especially considering that we were determined to create something more refined than what other brands are importing,” said Phunkshun Wear CEO Jason Badgley. “I’m proud to say we’ve accomplished that with our Ultralite tube and are making it here in Colorado.”
