Phoenix Footwear Group, Inc. appointed Prasad Reddy as Executive Vice President of Sourcing. Mr. Reddy brings to Phoenix over 30 years of experience in the footwear industry. Prior to joining Phoenix, Mr. Reddy worked in the footwear industry, specializing in turnaround and growth situations. Previously, he served for a decade as President of K-Swiss International headquartered in Taiwan. While at K-Swiss, Mr. Reddy was responsible for worldwide sourcing as well as sales and marketing operations for the Asia Pacific Region, including Australia.
Mr. Reddy started his distinguished carrier at Wolverine World Wide. During his fifteen-year tenure at Wolverine, he was actively involved in developing inventory management systems, sourcing, production control and purchasing. While serving as Wolverine's Group Vice President of Operations, he supervised manufacturing operations and successfully negotiated, licensed and launched the Coleman and Reed St. James brands. Additionally, Mr. Reddy held positions of President & CEO of Freeman Shoe Co. and Vice President of Merchandising of Stride Rite, Inc.
