PHIT America is introducing the company’s first National Fundraising & Awareness Campaign, enabling any company, organization, association and employee in the sports and fitness industry to help educate and enlighten the U.S. about the negative side effects of physical inactivity.

PHIT America has developed a turn-key program for sponsors, supporters, ambassadors and partners to deliver its message. On SM.PHITAmerica.org, industry companies will see both social media video slideshows and emails, which can easily be posted or sent to company or personal contacts.

After seeing the message, viewers can access Donate.PHITAmerica.org or text to give by texting: 50155 to the message: PHIT.  Funds raised will be used to support more PHIT America GO! Grants.

“We have made this simple for anyone to help. Just go to SM.PHITAmerica.org, copy and paste our campaigns into Facebook, LinkedIn or Instagram,” said Jim Baugh, founder, PHIT America.  “If you have a good email list, send an image which explains the PHIT America program and our goals. It costs nothing to help.”

Since the fall of 2015, PHIT America has been engaged in distributing grants, called GO! Grants, to elementary school P.E. programs, having awarded more than 375 grants. In all, nearly 200,000 school children have been impacted by the grants and are now physically active. The need for these PHIT America GO! Grants exists, as many school districts continue to cut back on P.E. and recess.

The PHIT America GO! Grants range in size from $1,000 to $5,000 per school. In every PHIT America GO! Grant application, schools indicate the need for their students to develop motor skills, reduce obesity and increase physical literacy and fitness.
