Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever have selected James Harris to serve as its regional representative in for Ohio and West Virginia.
In this role, Harris will support volunteers and partners in the two-state region, currently home to 27 Pheasants Forever chapters, three Quail Forever chapters and more than 5,000 members.
“Representing the Eastern reaches of the pheasant and quail ranges, Ohio and West Virginia share a common thread—an abundance of outdoorsmen and outdoorswomen who care about upland resources,” said Tom Fuller, field service director for Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever. “I believe our newest staffer, James Harris, is well-prepared to tackle the challenges that pheasant and quail hunters face in the East. Likewise, his career background and affinity for upland hunting will assist him in creating new partnerships for grasslands conservation and public access opportunities.”
