Phantom Glide, the permanent, single-application base treatment for skis and snowboards, added a Nordic formula to its product lineup and bolstered its sales team with two veteran sales managers Doug Sheehy and Pete Leazott.
Sheehy, Leazott and Justin Greenbaum, the Rockies sales and tech rep who joined the company in September 2023, will support Phantom Glide Nordic’s launch and continue the original Phantom Glide sales momentum.
“With the launch of Phantom Glide Nordic and the strong momentum we’re seeing with Phantom Glide sales, we jumped at the opportunity to add two veteran sales managers to the team,” said Steve Kropf, senior vice president of sales at Phantom Glide. “Doug and Pete boast strong sales backgrounds, and we’re confident in their ability to help us grow Phantom Glide sales right out of the gate.”
Sheehy has worked in sales at the business-to-business and retail level. Most recently, he was Christy Sports/Cottam’s Ski Shop store manager in Taos, NM. In his new role, Sheehy will cover the East Coast as key account sales manager for Phantom Glide. Based in Stowe, VT, he will support New England and Mid-Atlantic dealers and dealers in Eastern Canada.
Leazott has an extensive sales background, most recently working as a sales rep for RM Sales, Ltd. in Colorado and New Mexico for Salomon and Arcade Belts, among others. As Phantom Glide’s European sales manager, Leazott will be based out of Switzerland and oversee European sales and support Phantom Glide distributors in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, Norway, and Sweden.
