With barely enough time for the ink to dry on its licensing agreement for JAG swimwear, Perry Ellis International, Inc. has reorganized parts of it swimwear business, appointing Gail Rhodes as senior vice president of sales for women’s swim. Rhodes had been with Beach Patrol since 1991, most recently as executive vice president of sales for all Beach Patrol brands including JAG. She will be responsible for growing the business and leading the company’s sales team for the JAG, Jantzen, South Point, Zuma Beach, Original Penguin, and Perry Ellis women’s swimwear brands. Michelle Mohlere has been appointed vice president of women’s swimwear. Mohlere previously served as the executive vice president of merchandising for all brands at Beach Patrol. She was also with Warnaco/Authentic Fitness, completing her tenure as VP of women’s swimwear responsible for the Speedo brand. In addition, as part of the reorganization, Kim Wagenaar has been promoted to VP of men’s swimwear.
