Perry Ellis International announced that George Pita has been named senior vice president of finance. Pita will report to Chief Financial Officer Tim Page and will be responsible for all corporate accounting functions, as well as the company's green grass, corporate wear, retail business and planning operations.
“George has been a standout performer for Perry Ellis during the past two years and his broad expertise in finance will help drive our company to the next level,” Page said.
Before joining Perry Ellis International, Pita had served at Sunglass Hut International in a variety of accounting and finance positions including chief financial officer. Pita graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami in 1983 with a bachelor's of Business Administration and has been a CPA since 1984.
