Pedego will host a Grand Opening celebration for its new store in Boston on April 4.
The celebration, which will begin at 11:00 a.m. will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Massachusetts State Senator William Brownsberger and Sami Baghdady, Selectman for the Town of Belmont. A group electric bike ride starts at 1:00 p.m. The ride is free, but bikes will be available on a first-come-first-served basis.
Conveniently located near Cushing Square in Belmont, Mass., the
store is a short ride from Harvard Square, the famous Minuteman Bikeway
and the Charles River Bicycle Trails.
“We chose Belmont because it's a community with a lot of bicycle commuters,” said Pedego Boston store owner Michael Hauser, who anticipates doing a brisk rentals business. “Cushing Square is a great area with a lot of energy.”
Belmont is close to the Minuteman Bike Trail leading to Lexington and the Paul Dudley Bicycle Path on the Charles River, which offers a safe and beautiful route to downtown Boston and Cambridge.
Pedego Boston offers the region's finest selection of Pedego electric bikes for sale, tours and rentals.
Pedego Electric Bikes are sold in more than 800 stores in 40 countries. The company is based in Orange County, CA.
