Patrick Mahomes, the reigning Super Bowl MVP, dethroned Tom Brady in leading NFL players in merchandise sales this past season, according to the NFL Players Association’s list of top 50 selling players. Brady came in second.

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback’s popularity surged last season, culminating with a Super Bowl victory over the San Francisco 49ers.

Brady, who signed with Tampa Bay this offseason, had held the title each of the previous two seasons while with New England. Rounding out the top five are Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, who skyrocketed from No. 41 heading into the season; Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott and Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield.

The list includes merchandise sold from online and traditional outlets, including Nike – the NFL’s official jersey supplier — and Fanatics. The timeframe runs from March of last year through February.
