Patagonia is planning to open its first store in Brooklyn at 70 North 6th Street in Williamsburg, according to the Commercial Observer.
The 12,000-square-foot retail location will occupy the second floor of the property between Kent and Wythe Avenues along with most of the ground level, under its long-term lease.
“We are extremely proud to have worked with Patagonia and Asana Partners on this historic expansion into Brooklyn,” Matthew Krell, managing director of Alvarez & Marsal Property Solutions (AMPS), which brokered the deal for Patagonia, said in a statement. “Williamsburg’s North 6th Street is one of the most exciting retail corridors in the country.”
Patagonia has four stores located in New York City located at 313 Bowery; 72 Greene Street; 414 W. 14th Street; and 426 Columbus Avenue.
