Tyler LaMotte returns to Patagonia as marketing director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

An industry veteran of more than 20 years, LaMotte, is based in Patagonia’s Amsterdam regional headquarters and oversees its marketing strategy.

LaMotte previously worked at Patagonia from 2010 to 2015 as a global business unit director for snowsports, performance baselayer, trail running, and accessories based at its Ventura, CA headquarters.

Early in his career, after working in snow sports media and content production, LaMotte joined Salomon in the early 2000s as a snowboard specialist. He then joined Adidas USA, where he oversaw board sports, before being recruited to work with Patagonia. He left the company to work for Apple before returning to Portland at the end of 2016 to take over the marketing direction for Keen. From 2019 to the end of 2021, he worked as a brand manager of a resort in Jackson Hole. He has also served on the Boards of the Conservation Alliance and Snowsports Industries America (SIA).
