Paddlesports Retailer continues to gain momentum as the paddlesports industry’s official trade show. The inaugural event debuts August 29 – September 1, 2017 in Madison, WI utilizing the standard format of an opening on-water demo at Willow Island Pond followed by three days at the Alliant Energy Center exhibition hall. So far, 75 percent of total exhibition space has been sold.
Of the 80 brands currently representing the show, Joe Pulliam of Jackson Kayak said, “I’m delighted that we’ll have a trade show that fits both our cultural and financial needs. We’re proud to support a show that supports our industry.”
Werner Paddles, exhibiting after a five-year hiatus from national shows, echoes that sentiment. “We are excited about this opportunity to be a part of Paddlesports Retailer,” said Marketing and Sales Director Taylor Robertson. “We are happy to endorse this show, which is aimed at solely supporting our industry.”
Marcus Shoffner, a recent addition to the Paddlesports Retailer team, will serve as show manager. “We are thrilled to have Marcus on board,” said show co-organizer Sutton Bacon. “He brings our team significant experience in both marketing and events, and will work in close collaboration with vendors, buyers and media to ensure that Paddlesports Retailer exceeds all expectations.”
Buyers are encouraged to register for the show at paddlesportsretailer.com, where they can find a full show schedule, updated exhibitor lists and information about lodging.
