Pacific Sunwear of California, Inc. reported that total sales for December increased 10.9% to $242.4 million from $218.6 million during the same period last year. Total company same store sales increased 1.0% during the same period. By concept, PacSun same store sales increased 1.5% and d.e.m.o. same store sales decreased 2.3% compared to the same five week period last year.
Total sales for the first eleven months (48 weeks) of fiscal 2005 were $1,316.2 million, an increase of 13.0% over total sales of $1,164.4 million for the same period last year. Total company same store sales increased 3.1% during the same eleven month period with PacSun same store sales up 3.4% and d.e.m.o. same store sales up 1.0%.
