Outtech Inc., based in Aurora, OH,  announced that its Board of Directors unanimously approved the promotions in senior management of Scott Blackwell and John Seliga.

Outtech veteran and current COO, Seliga has been promoted to president, sales and brand management. He has been a part of the Outtech team since the company’s founding in 1989. He joined Outtech as a regional sales manager and has worked as the company’s COO for 12 years.

As president, Seliga will leverage his experience to drive the growth of the company and its manufacturing partners.
He will be responsible for brand on-boarding and support with day-to-day operational leadership of its sales and brand management division. Continuing to report to Scott Blackwell, he will work closely with Nick French, vice president, sales, and Ron Rette, senior vice president, sales, to drive sales team productivity. With Jen Kresser-Campbell, vice president, brand management and business intelligence, Seliga will also oversee its sales analytics team to enhance its data and business intelligence to help its partner brands grow across all sales channels.

Scott Blackwell, president, will transition to CEO, Outtech, LLC., He will oversee all operational and strategic operations of Outtech, including its marketing services firms, Quickfire LLC. and Legacy Conservation Partners LLC., and its market/consumer research arm.

“Over the last five years that Scott has been with Outtech he has guided us operationally to an organization that is focused on accountability both internally as well as with our partners. This has driven improvements in productivity and results that benefit both Outtech and our manufacturing partners,” explained Scholes. “We are excited to make these operational changes, allowing Scott to fully focus on expanding the resources we can offer to this industry.”

Jay Scholes, co-founder, Outtech and its former president, will continue as Chairman of the Board and chief visionary officer to drive the company’s vision.
