Infinited Fiber Company Plans $420 Million Factory

Finnish recycled fiber company Infinited Fiber plans to build its first commercial-scale Infinna fiber factory at Stora Enso’s Veitsiluoto industrial site in Kemi, Finland’s northernmost region of Lapland. The size of the planned investment is around €400 million ($420 mm).

Smith & Wesson’s Sales Tumble In Fiscal Fourth Quarter

Smith & Wesson Brands Inc. reported sales fell 43.9 percent in the fourth quarter and 18.4 percent in its fiscal year ended  April 30. Earnings were also sharply down, reflecting weakening demand for firearms and inflationary pressures on costs. 

JD Sports Outlines Plan To Improve Corporate Governance

J.D. Sports Fashion posted a record annual profit but warned that earnings would remain flat in the current financial year amid inflationary pressures. The retailer also laid out plans to overhaul its corporate governance structure and internal controls after a review led to the exit of long-time boss Peter Cowgill last month.
