Outdoor Retailer show management is considering a possible one-day date shift for next year's summer show. As a result, advance bookings for Winter and Summer Market 2013 will not be available on site at this week's trade event.

Winter Market 2013 dates were already shifted by one day with the new dates being Jan. 23-26 (Wednesday-Saturday), at the Salt Palace Convention Center and the All Mountain Demo being held Tuesday, Jan. 22.

The proposed date structure and the deferral of advanced bookings at the show aim to deliver a more streamlined housing plan to all attendees, as well as save industry members the potential time and hassle of re-booking.

If a date shift is made for Summer Market 2013, Outdoor Retailer anticipates an announcement during the month of September or as soon as all housing and move-in and move-out logistics have been confirmed. Outdoor Retailer will provide detailed communication and resources for booking show housing at that time.

Representatives from the Official Outdoor Retailer housing partner, Travel Planners, will be onsite at Summer Market 2012 to answer questions about housing needs.
