Osprey Packs, Inc. has made some key changes and additions to the company as it prepares for the 2004 season and beyond. Nathan Kuder, formerly Assistant Designer, will lead off in a new role as Product Development Manager. He will be responsible for market and trend analysis, product line planning and development, timeline management, prototype evaluation, product spec sheets and testing.
Jason Strickland, formerly Warranty and Repair Manager, will evolve his multiple roles at Osprey into the Associate Product Manager, assisting Nathan in all areas of responsibility, in particular, competitive research, spec sheets and testing. Additionally Jason will function as Sales Associate working on POS development and management, regional consumer events, technical product support, and sales data analysis and reporting.
Finally, Osprey is thrilled to welcome Tom McCarthy to the Osprey Sales Team. Tom will represent Osprey in the combined Mid-Atlantic and New England territories, picking up after the good work of Ray Ferrand and Chris Lathrop. Tom brings a wealth of pack experience to Osprey, including nine years with Dana Design between 1992 and 2001. He currently represents Leki USA, Big Agnes, Mountain Shades, McNett and Grivel. The Northeast Territory is comprised of ME, VT, NH, MA, RI, NY, NJ, Western PA, and CT. Tom starts with Osprey by selling the F'04 pre-season and servicing accounts in S'04.
Osprey would like to extend a special thanks to Ray Ferrand and Chris Lathrop for their many years of service to the company.
