Option snowboards and NFA outerwear announced the appointment of Steve Dewar as the companys new president. His presence will prove to move the brands forward into future markets by overseeing all aspects of the company. Steve brings significant industry experience to his new position including past presidency of two of the snowboard industrys founding firms, Sims and Westbeach. Steve also served as president of Galaxy Sports, Inc. a leading supplier of athletic clothing and equipment.
Throughout his career Steves broad based relationships with core retailers have driven him back to the industry that he is most passionate about. “Im beyond excited to be back in the industry where my passion lays. The future will consist of building upon previous and developing many new long term relationships,” states Steve. “Option is the leading board manufacturer in the industry and were putting a great emphasis on the team this season so its on par with our legendary board construction.” Being located in Vancouver will give Steve quick access to both the office/factory as well as the local mountains for shred sessions.
