Opinel USA launched its Picnic+ designed to eliminate disposable cutlery for meals on the go. With its roots in the French Alps, Opinel has over 130 years of experience making knives and kitchen tools.
Made in France, Picnic+ offers interchangeable fork and spoon inserts, which slide into the brand’s No.08 Folding Knife and lock into place with the Virobloc safety ring. The inserts are compatible with all wooden-handled No.08 folding knives equipped with the Virobloc safety ring, circa 2000.
The set is compact, light and portable, weighing 3.4 ounces. The Picnic+ Complete Set features a No.08 Folding Knife, fork insert, spoon insert, and a dual-use microfiber napkin that doubles as a carrying case for the set. For users who already own an Opinel No.08 Folding Knife, the Picnic+ Insert Set includes a fork insert, spoon insert, and a dual-use microfiber napkin that doubles as a carrying case.
