A team of seasoned footwear, apparel and accessories executives have
partnered to launch one7, a new sales and marketing holding company
that will develop and manage leading brands. Its first foray will be
into footwear as the group has secured the license from Pentland Group
to market and sell the KangaROOS brand in the U.S., effective November 1.

The
management group at one7 features a team of experienced industry
executives who have a proven track record managing market-leading
footwear, apparel and accessory brands. The group offers strong overall
branding and strategic insight as well as established manufacturing
expertise.

newly formed one7.

In addition to Carver, who most recently served as vice president of Sourcing Resource Group, the one7 team includes:

  • Mary Taylor, chief marketing officer, is the former president of
    Ryka and in over 25 years in the industry has also held senior
    management roles with Reebok, Converse and Stride Rite.
  • Jordan Saliman, senior vice president sales, has 40 years of
    footwear sales and marketing experience at leading brands such as
    Reebok, US Shoe and Hi-Tec.
  • Joe Zogby, chief financial officer at one7, has over 30 years of
    finance and operations experience in industries ranging from
    automotive, textiles and sporting goods.
